Deepak I. Shahdadpuri has over 20 years of private capital experience in both private equity and venture capital. Before DSGCP, he co-founded and managed the Beacon India Private Equity Fund and GEM India. Prior to that, Deepak worked with Reuters Venture Capital, Bain & Company and Ernst & Young.

Deepak currently serves on portfolio boards including Veeba, Epigamia, Sula Wines, Baker’s Circle, Eazydiner, India Lends, Mswipe, The Mom’s Co, Piccolo, Pip & Nut, Furtado’s School of Music, Ramblin Brands, Perromart, Brewlander, Salad Stop, Kinds Kones and The Golden Duck. His investment experience also includes RBL Bank, Indostar, India’s National Stock Exchange, OYO Rooms, Cleartrip, GOQii, Redmart, Chope, F&B Asia and Hostmaker.

Deepak has an MBA with distinction from INSEAD where he graduated on the Dean’s list, an LLB (Hons) from King’s College London and a FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.
